Pathways to Employment is a collaborative effort by the City of Davis, Davis Community Meals and Housing, Davis business organizations, the local faith community, and individuals to provide employment skills and opportunities to persons experiencing homelessness. It seeks to build the self- esteem of the participants, enhance their work ethic, become community oriented and assist them with becoming self-sufficient
Program participants shall be persons experiencing homelessness. Opportunities to participate in the program are offered to residents of the New Pathways program, the transitional housing programs in Davis, and the shelter programs in Davis. Participants in the program may also be persons experiencing homelessness who are currently unhoused or unsheltered. 5 individuals will be employed in the program at any one time along with one supervisor. Yearly, we expect have no less than 20 participants in the program.
