DCMH’s street outreach program has several objectives built on the principle of mutual trust, with the goal of identifying the most vulnerable living on the streets of Davis.
- Provides a comprehensive overview of who is homeless in the streets of Davis
- Prioritizes services to the most vulnerable
- Offers and provides wraparound services to those willing to accept them
The program provides outreach, engagement, referrals, and services to the homeless in Davis. DCMH staff are working with the local police, Yolo County Continuum of Care, and county staff and programs to provide services to the individuals in the program.
